More acts have been announced for the 20th anniversary edition of The Great Escape.
Organisers have confirmed over 100 new names for the festival, including Los Angeles pop artist Arima Ederra, Brighton alt-indie duo ARXX, Orlando indie-pop singer Bella Kay, Welsh songwriter Ben Ellis, South London rapper Ceebo, London electronic experimentalist Charlotte Plank, US hyperpop artist Chase Icon, Nottingham post-punk outfit Do Nothing and Birmingham alt-indie duo Gans.
UK drag artist Bimini will also appear at the Brighton Dome Concert Hall on May 15 supporting Peaches' Spotlight Show. Other new additions include Swedish indie-pop band Girl Scout, Cambridge shoegaze duo The Healing Power of Horses, Glasgow's soulful singer-songwriter Kerr Mercer and Bristol post-punk newcomers My First Time.
Other acts already confirmed for the festival include The Lottery Winners, BIG WETT, Villanelle, Haute & Freddy, Mother Soki, Min Taka, Keo, Tooth, Adult DVD, Dea Matrona, Bella Barbe, Tony Bontana, Angine de Poitrine, dogworld, HEADSEND, Marsy, benchwarmer, Dead Dads Club, Wesley Joseph, Tom A. Smith, Chanpan, Julia Cumming of Sunflower Bean, The Orielles, Pigeon, Why Horses?, Heidi Curtis, Lauren Auder, and Matthew Ifield, among many others you can check out below.
It was also previously announced that The Kooks will peform a special Spotlight Show at TGE Beach Site on the first day of the festival (May 13), supported by Girl In The Year Above, with Kingfishr set perform a Spotlight Show at Brighton Dome Concert Hall on May 15.
Playing host to over 450 up-and-coming artists and hotly tipped talent across more than 35 venues, the multi-day event known for providing a platform for rising artists and underground talent will return to Brighton in May.
Also new for 2026, The Great Escape have introduced TGE Wristband Rewards, giving festivalgoers access to exclusive perks at various Brighton venues, including discounts and complimentary items, via the official TGE app.
