Ed O'Brien has announced the An Evening With... Blue Morpho UK and European tour.
The Radiohead guitarist will support his second solo album, 'Blue Morpho', with shows in Amsterdam, Milan, France, Berlin, Hamburg, Groningen and London, where he'll conclude the run at the Barbican on October 16.
The dates will see him joined by musicians who performed on the album, including musical director Dave Okumu and ESKA, with the performances set to be an immersive and evolving experience, not an exact reproduction of the album. Tickets go on general sale at 9am BST tomorrow (April 2).
The follow-up to 2020's 'Earth', which he released under the moniker EOB, will be released on May 22 via Transgressive.
A short film called Blue Morpho: The Three Act Play will be released alongside the album, though exact details of the rollout are still to be confirmed. It was premiered earlier in March at SXSW in the US, Screen On The Green in London with additional screenings taking place in Paris and Oxford.
